NiN10Doh!

"Well..."

submission: NiN10Doh!

There's a lot I need to say about this.

Much of it is in fact, really really funny. In particular, the first Pokemon skit, the Mario ones, the cock/pussy thing (hilarious, my favorite part actually), and the Metroid one, to name a few. But it'd be nice if it had skip arrows, so I can skip over the ones I don't particularly like -- the one with the annoyingly-voiced dog singing (would've been funny if the music and voice correlated JUST A LITTLE... but I'm sure it has to do with the game, which I can't figure out what game it refers to...?), and the second Pokemon one. That one's just... brings me to my second point.

It'd be really nice if two of the contributors weren't perverted assholes. The preloader is ugly and completely unnecessary (love the "original" bonus feature location. Oh yeah.), and the second Pokemon one... why do all the Pokemon have boobs? It's just utterly unnecessary and perverted, and I really don't like it. Plus the Pikachu's voice is entirely inappropriate... yeah a lot of the voices could use work. What's up with Bowser in the second Mario one? His voice is like, quiet and echo-y at first... but I did like that one.

Anyway. The good far outweighs the bad, but the bad is just... kinda stand-out-ish.

Just kick the pervs off the team, improve the microphone quality, and this'll instantly jump to at least a nine. Maybe even a ten!

Metal Gear Awesome 2

"Doing the nigh impossible"

date: April 9, 2008

It's practically fact that sequels cannot, will not, and shall never be as good, let alone greater, than the original that preceded them.

... However.

You, Egoraptor, have done it. You've made a sequel that takes everything that made the first gut-bustingly hilarious and made it orgasm onto a Flash video multiple times. I almost couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard the first three times I viewed it (all in a row because I was just that floored by the utter hilarity of it all).

I don't know how you did it.
I don't understand how it's even possible.
But what I do understand is this: Metal Gear Awesome 2. Is. HI-FUCKING-LARIOUS AND A HALF x 2382039820398879879.23873

And then some!

There's really only one word I can think of to describe this: Bewitching. Absolutely bewitching. I literally got chills when he transformed. It's amazing.

"Excellence"

This is a beautiful example of how great voiceacting can make the quality of a Flash animation skyrocket. Everyone in this movie (not just Ego :D) delivered their lines more than adequately and voiced the characters perfectly. Though the art isn't exactly masterpiece-worthy (at least to me), the smooth, bouncy animation and the talented voiceactors made the art look better to me. (Though some of the microphone quality is a little sketchy, it adds to the humor at times.) All in all, I really enjoyed this. That Mace guy, though... scaaaaaary. XD;;

Oh man... I like sprite animations quite a bit, especially when they're done well. This was definitely cute... not TERRIBLY original, but originality is overrated. I LOVED the Tetris throwback. (I HEART TETRIS LIKE WHOA.) Maybe not entirely deserving of my five, but... great nonetheless. I enjoyed this very much. :D

Flash Comedy Extravaganza

"Heheh..."

date: July 31, 2006

Okay, this is undeniably funny... in fact, I can't stop watching it over and over. Pretty much everything got me laughing--the space report, the guy laughing like a rabbit on crack (my favorite part, actually), Foogi-san (and despite being an anime lover, the big hair DOES make me laugh... XD), but then... we get LegendaryFrog. Now, I like LegendaryFrog. He's not the best flash animator known to man... (the guy who does the Bitey stuff is. :D) but... I'm a total sucker for randomness. I like muffins and pies. I'm so easily amused in fact, that I will ignore bad quality for laughs. Which brings me to my next point... okay, I don't play WoW, and I never have. So I've never seen his stuff regarding it. It looks kind of crappy graphic-wise, but since I don't play it, I have no interest. But the gradients... I find it funny you say that about gradients when they're so evident in one of your other flashes. Kind of makes one wonder, hm?

Continuing, I'm not a fan of the singing bullfrog thingie... and then we get to the flash script with Snake and stuff. (You should've gotten Egoraptor to do Snake, though......) Link's "I don't know why I'm here" made me laugh. The real Brooklyn-Italian Mario and Luigi ("No one even likes you, now shut up.") made me laugh as well... Goku, heh, it makes me wonder why I even watched DBZ back in the day... and Sora being chased by fangirls. XD;;; I do agree though, in the tutorial, the name Inuyasha458409574587693 or whatever it was (XD), people need to STOP with the numbers. Arrgh. One of my screen names somewhere else has the number "77andahalf" added to it to mock other people with names like that. But... I'll go for anything random if I like it enough, so if it's random and just so happens to be full of sprites and no plot, and it's funny to me, it's good. Just like what you like and don't get mad about others getting high points... I normally ignore the score anyway. :D;;

All in all, it's funny and I like watching it... but I felt bad for LF. I mean... he's so cute and everything............ *has to remember the maker of the flash isn't necessarily female/gay...* Oh, right... um... well, +5 on him for being cute anyway.

In conclusion, I say, if you like what you see, just like it. If you don't like it, ignore it. :D;;;;;

Great job nonetheless.

("Look, Yugi-chan... it's the Sacred Stone... woooooow..." // "........I think I like that other show better.")

Author's Response:

I'm glad you don't play WoW, you probably save yourself a lot of time spent doing better things.

I hardly use gradients, and I especially never use them on my characters. But every animator uses a gradient every so often. I use them when they are needed. Even chluiad from Bitey does. I never said they were something to completely avoid, I said LF overuses them. If you cannot see the difference between the way LF and I animate, you need better eyes.

I would never let Egoraptor touch my flash projects. Up to now I have done my own voice acting, and if I had a sound card or mic half as good as him and other voice actors do, I would sound better.

This seems like less of a review and more like a checklist of things you agreed or disagreed with in my parody. Also, you make assumptions that I am somehow jealous of Legendary Frog's success.

I'll say it for the thousandth time. I make parodies because it is what I like to do. People are easy to make fun of, so why not do it? It's been done for thousands of years, and people - like yourself - tend to find it funny. And so do I. Big freakin' deal.

"Well..."

submission: Hyakugojyuuichi 2

Not as good as the original... but it had it's special parts! I would've given it a little higher of a rating had there been no original, but it still stands that Neil Cicierega is the best Animutator out there, and only Hyakugojyuuichi!! (props for spelling it more Hepburn, though) is the best. :D

(All those who don't like it because they thought it was just plain bad probably aren't fans of Animutation. I think.)
